Christmas Stuff

So for the past few days, my schedule has been nonstop and at the same time slowed down by the heavy traffic. Being car-less I didn't accessibly purchase many christmas gifts. I cynically sunk so deep about consumer christmas that I resigned from buying gifts after the 3rd person on my list. Sitting in traffic these past couple days made me question things. Could it be possible for the shelf life of cars and humans overweigh the lengths of paved roads? I think so!

Any who, Tuesday night was my work's last day before vacation and usually we have a Christmas party at a bar down the street. I had fun and found myself very "wired" if you will. Many people from work were floating around and some new and/or familiar faces were in hindsight. I swore that I saw the one man band, Ace from Aesop Rock but as we slowly approached his voice was at a high note; not him.

Later on in the night, I complimented this person's hat which followed with a thanks, talking and a random question. "Do you go on youtube?" It turns out this person works on a series that I have seen in the past. It's nerdy to say this but he is one of those internet phenomena persons which I was wowed about. I think if I had known that he did the series before-hand I would have attempted a more prepared language than "nice hat" but, we're all just people and the feeling of "nice hat" will just surface somehow. weird.
