Chapter 2 (Abundance, Asia, and Automation)

Upon reading the three A's I am wowed at the strong comparrison that L directed thinking can seriously breathe through in the form of a computer. I'm not sure what specific white collar L thinking entails with being an engineer or etc. but with the expediant computer at hand, we all may feel the rath of being outsourced. Also if wages by 2015 will be turned over to Asia then what will happen to all the saved money? Abundance of saved money has a new roll now and outside of money there is an abundance of new faces that have left their L directed field.

The section about products and designers from target slightly boggles me. The advertising industry has also crossed over into more R based thinking. What confuses me is how much R directed thinking is true in it's product verses it's presentation and desire to make money. Presenting products and their creator begins a relationship between the consumer and the product but I feel as if the meaning is broken when it involves making money. There's not true way of deciphering the product other than word of mouth.

I'm probably thinking way too much into this but money drivers our economy and meaning drivers our consciousness and abundance drives meaning because there is no need to have the essentials anymore-woo..
This book really makes me think. I get confused as to what I would like to discover or what I would like to particularly blog, but I am hoping to find some direction, and possibly some meaning.
