cultural relevance

Art to me seems invested in culture and context that it's hard to assess nowadays. I have this theory that later down the road teachers will be saying to their students that in the past that art classes were supremely reliant on pencils, paint and white paper. With that said, this relates to the idea that one medium is not the basis but instead using any defined media to create our experiences, even today if that means growing up with these currently known tools of pencils, paint and white paper.
